Design Process
Sketching
The user needs an immersive mental escape but doesn't want a bulky eye-sore. Having a product that can also be a modern furnishing becomes marketable to a much larger group too.
A key finding that lead my designs was that people using screens to relax were over 20% more stressed.

Rough modeling
After consulting a Reiki Master and Cranial Sacral Therapist, I found a chamber space to be the most immersive. Then I took the concept into real space to make a 2/5ths size model for exact CAD measurements.

Design
Mendful is both a modern home bench and a meditation space. Temperature, sound, haptic vibrations, and lighting is used to create full immersion.
The user can link to the bench via bluetooth and do specific meditations. It also has the adaptive aura setting to auto-regulate based on preferences and audio playback.
