"Hot Springs" are a set of platter forms that can be used as bird baths or the centerpiece of your favorite wood and cast-iron table.  These pieces are the first platter set to come from Glazer Arts using handmade plaster molds and paper clay. Paper clay is a special mixture of clay and plant fibers from paper. This allows for radical textures and the durability to take the raw force of the Anagama wood-fired kiln's firebox. Wood is stoked into the firebox and pieces here are subject to the most extreme ranges of heat and ash from the kiln.
